Who are we?

Hi, my name is Karen and I am the owner of Amazing Grace Quilt Store and I am so blessed to be able to follow my dreams to fruition. I own a Quilt Retreat (Chantilly Lace Quilt Retreat) which opened amid COVID in 2020. I dreamed of opening a fabric store at the same time but it was simply too much to navigate due to the changing world of a pandemic. Fast forward to 2023 and my dream started growing again and I just took the plunge and went for it. Now, opened as a store front, I feature Batiks, Blenders, and Backings. My dream is to be the "go-to" in my area for anything Batik, Blender or Backing. Check us out and follow us on social media. Thanks for shopping LOCAL!!!!!

Hi, my name is Brittany and I’m the manager here at Amazing Grace. I am new to the sewing world, but I am learning fast and SEW excited to see where this adventure takes us! In my free time, I love to spend time with my husband and two sons. You will usually find me cheering on the sidelines of a soccer field or in the stands of a basketball/football game.

At Amazing Grace, you will find Batiks, Blenders, and Backings for all your quilt needs. Here, the customer is our #1 priority. We are dedicated to providing you with the best fabrics, exceptional customer service, fast shipping and free local delivery.

Where Are We Located and What Do We Offer?

Our store front is located in Historic Montgomery, Texas. Also, we are an online retailer which allows us to be available to everyone, anywhere, and anytime.

When Did We Open?

Amazing Grace started as a dream in 2023 but came to fruition in February 2024 as an exclusively online business but in July 2024 we were blessed to open a store front in Historic Montgomery, Texas.  Karen has been an avid quilter for years! Attending numerous quilt shows and markets as well as attending quilting retreats with her fellow quilting friends. Karen is also the owner of a quilt retreat called Chantilly Lace located in Willis, Texas. Karen introduced Brittany, her niece, to the industry and she quickly jumped onboard.

How did Amazing Grace Come to Be?

As an avid quilter and retreat attender, Karen has often dreamed of adding “Fabric Store Owner” to her resume and having an inside knowledge she knew that specializing in Batiks, Blenders, and Backings was the direction she wanted her business to go. To be a place crafty people could go to find those finishing pieces to their projects or complete a project from start to finish with us.
